A Simple Day in Our Village | Washing Bedding, Sewing & Homemade Lunch Spend a peaceful day with us in our village as we enjoy a simple morning and take care of our home and family. We start the day by making creamy homemade Persian Fereni for breakfast before taking the bedding outside to wash. We wash the sheets by hand in a large basin, rinse them with the garden hose, and hang them between the trees under the warm summer sun. While the bedding is drying, we return to the kitchen to prepare lunch for our family. We make homemade Kotlet and a fresh Shirazi salad, enjoying the simple process of cooking a delicious homemade meal together. Later, we bring the dried bedding back inside and sew it to make a cozy cover for the blankets. After all the work is finished, we sit together and enjoy the lunch we prepared for the family.
