Turning Awkward Windows Into Stained Glass

Ever since we moved into this house, I've had the most ridiculous solution for these three little windows above our bed... cardboard. 😅 Every Friday night I'd slide cardboard into the windows so we could sleep in on the weekends and watch TV without the sunlight reflecting across the screen. It worked... but it definitely wasn't pretty. After someone left a comment on my bedroom refresh video suggesting I treat these windows like shadow boxes, the idea started growing into something completely different. Using stained glass, wooden appliqués, and a simple DIY frame, I set out to create something that would actually solve the problem while becoming a beautiful feature in the room. This project definitely didn't go according to plan (when do they ever? 😂), but after a few happy accidents and some problem solving along the way, I finally retired the cardboard for good.
