Many UPSC aspirants have small doubts about Essay writing: • How should I start my introduction — with a quote, anecdote or example? • How long should the introduction be? • What should be the guiding factor while writing an essay? • Why am I unable to write 12 pages? • How can I improve my content and arguments? In this video, I address some of these common doubts and try to simplify them with practical examples and simple analogies. The objective is not to give you another rigid formula for essay writing, but to help you understand what actually matters while writing an essay — decoding the topic correctly and conveying your understanding with clarity.
