CTGP v1.03.1156 Gold Stars

You know the deal, I'm here to show gold stars from the latest update of CTGP. Not only there was a track update but there was an update where the Ghost DB will add more shortcut categories for numerous tracks. Luckily I'll keep my gold stars so I don't have to tt them again (if I don't want to). Cosmic Grove (5/10): Minor update stuff. I'm still not a fan, but it got in recently so obviously it can't get removed yet. For some reason JC nerfed the ghost by .5 so it went down from a 6 to a 5. Ice Cream Fortress (5/10): Minor update stuff. A set of item boxes was added after cannon on top path and the boxes at the very left and right of the cannon were removed. Other than that, it plays the same. Same difficulty expert even with a different combo. Superstar Dystopia (7/10): The beginning shortcut is wider (Thank God) and the fallen part (used to be) stays for the entire race so you can take that turn tighter on lap 2. Same difficulty expert even though I went from an eight to a seven, because I already know how to drive the track. Lumpy Lively Lair (6.5/10 closer to 6): REMOVE IT. Making the shroomless "easier" doesn't make the track better at all. I feel like this update is more cringe, because the fallen parts of the track stays for two laps instead of one, so this one of the reasons why the expert is faster than previous version. However you can gain time on it at the flip trick towards then end because he used mid-weight character. 3DS Rainbow Road (Rainbow Road: Solar Edition in CTGP) (7/10): Now this is an upgrade. ZPL did a really good job on this. Almost all ramps gives much less air than previous especially at the beginning because you can sometimes overshoot the third ramp. Everything else stayed the same (except for visuals ofc). Expert here is pretty well driven, but you can catch up pretty easily if you have fallen behind. The Grand Archives (replacing Mushroom Valley)(2/10): I don't have much to say here, but you're gonna have to learn the track to play it well (pretty much the case for most of Metabus' tracks). Not saying it's a hard track but some of the turns is kinda blind even with the arrows. Expert is really easy because kart moment. There is a beginning strat than can be done shroomless, but only with kart and maybe bullet bike. τ-Cryovolcano (replacing Hellado Mountain)(4.5/10): Ok track, but I am confused how the track kcl changed after a certain time, but I guess anything can happen. I have a feeling it can be kinda forgettable in the future but we'll see. Strobenz uses kart here so easy but not as easy as The Grand Archives. I don't think I did the optimal shroom strats so I might tt for a better time later. Blissful Block (replacing N64 Luigi Raceway)(6/10): Cool track but there is cars so not my favorite. Each lap has its own route (Strobenz moment). The track was kinda confusing at first but I'm kinda getting used to it after playing it numerous times in luminous. Expert itself is not the best driven but it's also not free. That's all Strobenz Desert Illusion (replace NISWOE Desert)(8.5/10): Ok so this track is the combination of Strobenz Desert, Blissful Block and Illusion Canyon which is pretty interesting. This track has a lot of tech like watching out for bouncy shy guys in karts, shroomless strats and consistency. Speaking of consistency, this expert is hard, but he used Yoshi which is the slowest mid-weight so you can catch up with ease. However, the downfall is you gotta learn how to do the rock-hop shroomless at the very end which is really diffiult with flame runner so I decided to use daisy mach bike so I don't waste a lot more of my time. If you know to play this track pretty well, you should be set.
