WEEK 2. BIG PLAYS. BIG NUMBERS. BIG STATEMENT. 🔥🏈 Red Mountain Football moved to 2-0 with a dominant 50-22 victory over Westwood in a Mesa matchup under the Friday night lights. After leading 19-15 at halftime, the Mountain Lions exploded in the second half, outscoring Westwood 31-7 to pull away and finish the night with 50 points. The Red Mountain offense was clicking. C. Joe delivered a huge night at quarterback, completing 14 of 18 passes for 340 yards, 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. A. Windom was one of the biggest weapons on the field, finishing with 153 receiving yards and a touchdown on just 4 catches. On the ground, D. Courts added 86 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on 10 carries. Westwood also had several strong individual performances. Quarterback G. Gleave threw for 264 yards and 2 touchdowns, K. Barkus rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown, and B. Ward finished with 117 receiving yards on 6 catches.
