In this video, I will describe the production technology for grams crop. Chick pea (chana) is successfully grown in desert areas or in sandy soils. It needs low inputs such as fertilizers, irrigation and pesticides etc. We can say that its cost of production is very less as compared to other crops. Grams (White) varieties: Noor 2022, Rohi 2021 etc. Grams (Black or brown or desi) varieties: T.G Striker, Thal chana, etc. Sowing time: 1st October to 15th September Harvesting time: Mid April to May Seedrate: 30 to 35 kgs Average Yield: 20 maunds Fertilizer Plan: DAP and potash at sowing time Irrigations: 2 irrigations are required.
