Black Americans are being told that Haitian political struggles, TPS, immigration policy, anti-Haitian discrimination, and broader diaspora concerns are automatically our responsibility.
But when Black Americans begin prioritizing our own interests, drawing clearer political boundaries, and organizing around our own lineage and community, that same behavior is suddenly treated as divisive, hateful, or unacceptable.
In this video, we examine a Haitian TikTok panel, the discussion surrounding Pierre Damas Bel, claims about FBA, Pan-Africanism, reciprocity, and the expectation that Black Americans should continuously provide political solidarity without asking what is being returned.

ABFTV examines Black American identity, lineage, politics, history, culture, and the contradictions surrounding modern Black political discourse.
