Print them on paper, cut out the shapes and use them to create your own layered gelli plate prints. https://shop.annabudin.com/b/V61x2 In this Gelli Plate Printing session, we'll try out different gelli printing techniques: Using paper stencils to create patterns on the Gelli Plate Layering acrylic paint to create unique abstract Gelli plate prints Mixing and combining magenta, yellow, white and the colors in between Experimenting with overlapping stencil shapes and different patterns Creating ghost prints and adding new layers to existing prints Trying thin printer paper for handmade Gelli plate printing stencils Discovering how different colors, layers and textures change the results Materials used: Gelli Arts® Gel Printing Plate (5 × 7 inches / 12.7 × 17.78 cm) Mixed media paper (A5 / 14.8 × 21 cm) Acrylic paint (magenta, yellow and white) The paper stencils can also be used with larger or smaller gelli plates. This is an exploratory gel printing session for trying out new gelli plate printing techniques with custom made paper stencils. Come along as I experiment with different color combinations, build up layers, reuse stencils and discover how each print develops. Some prints evolve through several layers, while others become interesting through unexpected results. Gelli plate printing is a versatile printmaking technique for creating original abstract artwork, colorful prints and papers for collage. You can experiment with different techniques using simple paper stencils and acrylic paint to create your own patterns and layered designs.
