The Wolrd Class Beach at Promenade des Anglais, Nice — a 4K walking tour along the most famous seafront on the French Riviera, from the pebbles of Castel Plage to the pink dome of the legendary Hotel Negresco. This walk begins on the Quai des États-Unis at the eastern end of the bay, below Castle Hill, where the water turns that impossible shade of pale turquoise. From there we follow the Baie des Anges west — past parasailers over the bay, the Belle Époque facades, the Art Deco casinos, and one of the most photographed hotels in Europe — all the way along the Promenade des Anglais itself. Nice is a UNESCO World Heritage site, listed for its extraordinary winter-resort architecture, and this stretch of seafront is the clearest possible argument for why. No narration. Maison Auer — pastry and confectionery in Vieux Nice since 1820. 📍 GOOD TO KNOW Nice's beaches are pebble, not sand. Bring water shoes — walking on them is genuinely tricky. Parasailing over the bay runs roughly €60–€90. Every beach club here sits beside a free public stretch with exactly the same water.
