Welcome to the first proper video on Roger Rides Again — a channel about getting back into motorbike riding after years away, one ride at a time. This one almost didn't happen. My first attempt to film ended early after a rather unfortunate encounter with a bird mid-ride (I came out better than the bird did). A few days later, second attempt — and this time it actually worked. In this video: a sunny ride out to the Dark Hedges in County Antrim, Northern Ireland — one of the most photographed roads in the world, and the King's Road from Game of Thrones. I also dig into the actual history of the place: a shipwreck, a family legacy, a ghost story, and why you can't actually ride (or drive) up it anymore.
