Sleepy Stories: Anubis and the Army of the Forgotten Dead | An Untold Egyptian Mythology Adventure

Settle in, get comfortable, and journey into the ancient Egyptian underworld with Anubis and the Army of the Forgotten Dead — an original sleepy story inspired by Egyptian mythology. Every night, the souls of the dead arrive before Anubis to have their hearts weighed and begin their journey into the afterlife. Until one night… no one comes. People are still dying in the mortal world, but their souls have disappeared. Searching for answers, Anubis follows a forgotten road deep beneath the underworld, where he discovers an enormous army of ancient warriors surrounding a gate that should not exist. These are souls from kingdoms erased from history, waiting for a master even the gods have forgotten. Beyond the gate lies the Keeper Below, an ancient god who once believed every soul that died belonged to him. And after thousands of years in chains, he is beginning to wake. Now Anubis must uncover a secret buried since the earliest days of the gods and discover whether the forgotten dead are truly an army—or thousands of souls who have simply forgotten who they once were. 🔥 Welcome to Tales of the Ember Here you'll find original sleepy stories inspired by mythology, folklore, legendary heroes, ancient gods, monsters, forgotten kingdoms, and worlds that might have existed just beyond the myths we remember.
