Forest Care - Lift and Pack Operations at Coeur d'Alene Nursery

Video footage shows crews lifting bare-root seedlings from nursery beds and bringing them indoors for sorting, pruning and packing during the annual lifting and packing operation at the Coeur d’Alene Nursery in Idaho, Nov. 3, 2026. The seedlings have spent the past two growing seasons developing in nursery beds. Crews sort, grade and prune them before they go to cold storage for the winter. The following spring, the seedlings will be shipped to forests across the northwest. The Coeur d’Alene Nursery has 130 acres under irrigation and can produce up to 16 million seedlings annually. #usa #forest #tree (Footage provided by Patrick Lair)
