John McDermott - Rest in Peace Mickey MacConnell - Only Our Rivers Run Free

It's been such a long time I've admired and finally got to know over the past ten years the magic that is Mickey MacConnell. He passed away this week and I wanted to share his most famous song that he recorded for a St. Patrick's program for me in 2021. RIP Mickey MacConnell 1947-2025. An absolute legendary voice of Ireland for 60 years. VIDEO & AUDIO CAPTURE by Seán Mac an tSíthigh @Buailtin https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/mu... https://www.rte.ie/news/regional/2025...
