Harvesting endives with Grimme Varitron 270 Platinum

The harvest of endive-roots is pretty specific, and different farmers have their own approach. This farmer, working close to Brussels (Belgium), adapted a Grimme Varitron 270 Platinum for the root-harvest. The machine has, among other things, a changed lifter, topper and an extra rubbing chain to clean soil of the roots.
