996CTSR HPR PCA Club race 09/20/26 (full race #2) grid P30 to finish P1, best lap#9 (1:45.79)

High Plains Raceway - Rocky Mountain Thunder PCA Club Race #2. We started in last position P30 due to skipping race #1. Finally managed to catch and overtake the pole sitter and leading white/green 992Cup on lap 15 to take the checker flag at the end of the 30 min sprint race. Pace was backed off after getting to P1 to preserve the car for the last few laps of the race. Best lap was #9 at a 1:45.79. Race was run on 4 session Michelin Porsche Cup tires. This was a good field of various cars including a 964Cup, 996Cup, 997Cup, two 991.2Cups and two 992Cups. It was a pretty clean race with no yellows.
