My journey from Bengaluru City Junction to Chennai Central aboard the 12028 Shatabdi Express was a beautiful blend of high-speed railway action, family travel, and spectacular landscapes. Running through the 130 KMPH Maximum Permissible Speed trunk-line corridor, the Shatabdi raced through the hot plains of Tamil Nadu while hills and mountains constantly accompanied the railway line. From the Yelagiri Hills around historic Jolarpettai Junction to the Javadi Hills between Jolarpettai and Katpadi, and the Jawadhu Hills along the Katpadi–Arakkonam section, every stretch offered a new perspective. Along with experiencing the speed and comfort of the Shatabdi, I enjoyed watching the changing landscape outside the window—green fields, coconut groves, railway tracks, distant mountains and busy stations—making this Bengaluru–Chennai journey with family a memorable rail adventure. -------- Chapters of the Journey: 0:00- Kagadaspura to Bangalore City Jn.
