Monte Chiodo - Nagelstein (m 2469) - Val d'Ultimo

Meta di questa escursione è il monte Chiodo (Nagelstein) in Val d'Ultimo. Punto di partenza è il lago di Fontana Bianca situato in fondo alla valle del quale si costeggia il lato destro fino a imboccare il sentiero 101 che ci porta alla Fiechtalm (Malga dei Pini); si continua poi per il sentiero seguendo sempre le indicazioni per il Monte Chiodo che ci porta alla cima. Tornando per lo stesso sentiero dopo un buon pranzo alla malga prendiamo i sentieri 107 e 103 che ci riportano a Fontana Bianca passando per il Lago dei Pescatori. Il Monte Chiodo è una vetta relativamente facile da raggiungere e che offre una vista magnifica sulla val d'Ultimo e sulle montagne circostanti. The starting point is Lake Fontana Bianca, located at the head of the valley; the route follows the right side of the lake until joining trail 101, which leads to the Fiechtalm (Malga dei Pini). From there, the path continues, following the signs for Monte Chiodo all the way to the summit. After a good lunch at the mountain hut, the return journey follows the same initial path before switching to trails 107 and 103, which lead back to Fontana Bianca via Lake Pescatori. Monte Chiodo is a relatively easy peak to reach, offering magnificent views of Val d'Ultimo and the surrounding mountains. Ausgangspunkt ist der Weißbrunnsee (Lago di Fontana Bianca) am Talschluss; man wandert am rechten Seeufer entlang, bis man auf den Weg Nr. 101 trifft, der zur Fiechtalm führt. Von dort folgt man weiterhin dem Weg und den Schildern Richtung Monte Chiodo bis zum Gipfel. Nach einer gemütlichen Einkehr auf der Alm kehrt man auf demselben Weg zurück, nimmt dann jedoch die Wege Nr. 107 und 103, die über den Fischersee (Lago dei Pescatori) wieder zum Weißbrunnsee führen. Der Monte Chiodo ist ein relativ leicht zu erreichender Gipfel, der einen herrlichen Ausblick auf das Ultental und die umliegenden Berge bietet. September 2026 / Ultental / Trentino-Südtirol
