Diary of a Phoenix – (Long vid) Entry 209

Diary of a Phoenix is a journal of a young woman (Alma) who survived a massacre during the 1992-1995 war of aggression in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and how she makes it. It is a fictional story inspired by real characters and events. I am journaling as a writer, to get to know my character better. It is such an amazing way to get the creative juices flowing, to see the world from your character’s perspective, and keep the story moving, I think I’ll do this for my other books and stories as well - can't wait to see how it works when the story is not written as a diary.
