Awesome Things to Do in Western Odisha | Patora Dam, Gandhamardan Hills

On the Holi weekend, we took a roadtrip from Sambalpur to explore some of the popular, yet lesser-known gems of Western Odisha. We started the weekend with a visit to the Nrusinghanath Temple in Bargarh on the base of the Gandhamardan Hills (Ramayan link in there). Later, we checked in to our tent stay for the night at Patora Nature Camp, a new eco-tourism jungle camp by Odisha Tourism. In the evening, we visited the huge Godhas Waterfall, and the next day, explored Patora Dam and Yogeshwar Temple. We celebrated Holi at the Harishankar Temple before heading back home.
