Lessons 1–6 of English Reading Basics, in one video — 12 minutes of slow, easy English to read along with first and then listen to on repeat.
📖 Everyday English — A1–A2 Beginner
Six short texts about everyday life, each read slowly and highlighted word by word, so your eyes and ears follow together. Every sentence sits right on the picture, so nothing covers what you are reading about, and there is a pause of a second and a half after each one — long enough to read the line again yourself before it changes. The reading is slower here than in the individual lessons.
No grammar rules and no translation: pictures carry the meaning, so you learn the words the way you learned your first language.

🔁 USE THIS VIDEO TWICE — that is what it is built for
1. WATCH IT ONCE. Read along out loud, look at the pictures, and let the meaning come from what you see. Don't translate. By the end you understand all six texts.
2. THEN PUT IT ON REPEAT AND JUST LISTEN. Rest your eyes. Cook, walk, commute, lie down. You don't need to watch any more — you already know what every sentence means, so your ears can do the rest.
That second stage is the whole reason to keep it around. Understanding comes from the first watch. Getting FAST comes from hearing the same easy English again and again, until the words arrive without you reaching for them. Each replay makes them a little quicker and a little more normal. Ten quiet replays will do more for you than ten new videos.

This is the reading part only. Each lesson also has 5 key words with pictures, 4 comprehension questions and a picture word-check — those are in the full lesson videos, one per topic, in the series playlist.
