(FATAL HIT-AND-RUN COLLISION IN CARLSBAD)

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026 around 7:47 PM A traffic collision got dispatched in Carlsbad at Carlsbad Boulevard and Redwood Avenue. When first responders arrived, they located a pedestrian suffering major injuries. The pedestrian was then later on pronounced deceased. The Carlsbad Police Department, then shut down Carlsbad Boulevard in both directions between Hemlock Avenue and Redwood Avenue. Seen in this video is the Carlsbad Police Department working and investigating the primary factors of the collision. As of now at 10:20PM Tuesday, September 15th 2026 the reason for the collision is unknown.
