Indiana Khalistan Referendum: Shimla Declared Proposed Capital of Khalistan

During the Khalistan Punjab Referendum in Indianapolis, Sikhs for Justice General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun announced Shimla as the proposed capital of the “Democratic Republic of Khalistan.” Pannun reiterated support for a peaceful, democratic ballot process and made allegations against the Indian government over its policies toward Sikhs and Punjab.
