THE BATTLEFIELDS OF THE LOMBA // Expedition Angola 2019

In July 2019 we embarked on an expedition to South-East Angola where operations Modular, Hooper and Packer took place during the Angolan Bush War. We set out to experience the region with a handful of people who fought there, and to document the reestablishment of wildlife in the area as it had recently been designated as a national park. Through thick sand, active landmine fields and the unforgiving isolation of Africa, it's safe to say that it was one hell of a ride. To John, Dirk, Stefan Van Wyk, Martin, Horst, Johan, Rudi and Stefan Boshoff (my dad), thanks for the memories!
