Canadians Are Going Places — Including Closer to Home!

There are some interesting shifts happening in Canadian travel right now — from more Canadians choosing to explore closer to home, to the growing popularity of fall and sports travel, and some big new developments from Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations. In this video, I’m looking at: What the latest travel numbers are telling us about Canadian domestic travel, and some surprising new travel "hotspots" and travel trends. Air Canada Vacations + Intrepid Travel — a new partnership bringing eight Intrepid small-group Canadian itineraries onto the Air Canada Vacations platform in 2027, including trips through the Canadian Rockies, Newfoundland, the Maritimes and Eastern Canada by rail. Air Canada's 2027 expansion — including summer routes from Toronto to Oslo, Shannon and Nice, Montreal to Dubrovnik and Tenerife, the return of the London Heathrow day-tripper, and increased service on some of their existing routes. For Canadians looking at their travel plans for the rest of 2026 and into 2027, there are some interesting changes worth knowing about!!
