Banaras is not just a city, it's an emotion! And every street, every ghat and every corner of Kashi has a story of its own. In this episode of my Banaras ride, I explored another beautiful side of Varanasi — its famous street food, ancient kunds, unique temples and fascinating stories. My day started with the delicious and unique **Fire Uttapam**, followed by a visit to the famous **Lolark Kund**, one of the ancient and spiritually significant places in Kashi, associated with Lord Surya (Sun God). This sacred kund holds a special place in local beliefs and traditions. After exploring the kund, it was time to discover the real taste of Banaras! From enjoying the famous *Banarasi Paan* and refreshing *Banarasi Thandai* to tasting the delicious **Hing Kachori at Dilu Kachori Wale**, this food journey was full of authentic local flavours. But Banaras is not just about food. It is also a city full of mysteries, history and spirituality. I also visited the unique Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple, located near Manikarnika Ghat. This temple is famously known as the Leaning Temple of Kashi or Kashi Karvat. What makes it extraordinary is its approximately 9-degree tilt and the fact that its lower portion remains submerged in the waters of the Ganga for much of the year. There is a fascinating local legend behind this temple. It is believed that a devotee built the temple in honour of his mother, Ratna Bai. When he proudly claimed that he had repaid his mother's debt, she reminded him that a mother's debt can never truly be repaid. According to the legend, her curse caused the temple to tilt. Apart from this popular story, structural explanations also suggest that the temple's weak foundation, riverbank silt and the changing water currents may have contributed to its unusual tilt. And the journey doesn't end here! Witness the divine and breathtaking *Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat* and experience the powerful atmosphere of **Manikarnika Ghat**, where Banaras reminds us of the eternal cycle of life and death. From delicious street food to ancient temples, from the flavours of Banaras to the spiritual energy of Maa Ganga — this episode captures the many shades of Kashi. So sit back, enjoy the ride and experience Banaras with me! ❤️ If you love travel, food and exploring India's hidden stories, don't forget to: 👍 LIKE | 💬 COMMENT | 🔁 SHARE | 🔔 SUBSCRIBE Welcome to *Ujwal On Wheels* — Every Destination Has a Story! 📍 Location: Varanasi (Banaras), Uttar Pradesh, India #Banaras #BanarasEP3 #Varanasi #Kashi #BanarasiFood #StreetFood #LolarkKund #RatneshwarMahadev #KashiKarvat #BanarasiPaan #BanarasiThandai #HingKachori #GangaAarti #DashashwamedhGhat #ManikarnikaGhat #TravelVlog #UjwalOnWheels #BikeTravel
