🪐 ॐ नमः शिवाय | Welcome to Sacred Dhwani Mantraa If the Guru of all the gods himself bows before Shiva — how powerful must that hymn be? This is महादेवस्तुतिः — composed by Brihaspati, the divine preceptor of all gods, lord of the planet Jupiter — in praise of Lord Mahadev, as recorded in the श्रीस्कन्दमहापुराण · काशीखण्ड — the sacred chapter of Kashi, the city Shiva himself never leaves. When Brihaspati completed this hymn, Mahadev was so pleased that he responded directly — granting Brihaspati the very name "Brihaspati" and making him the most exalted among all the planets. This is the stuti that elevated Jupiter to his cosmic throne.
