Marini Nainggolan Feat. Misi Lesar & Jojo Prawira: Jazz Night Ep. 2

Marini Nainggolan Feat. Misi Lesar & Jojo Prawira: Jazz Night Ep.2 Recorded in D'Jazz Music School April 2021 "Procrastinating (album: Ambivalén) Tentang perjuangan mau mulai lakuin ini itu (diet, kerja, olahraga) tapi ujung2nya nunda terus. "Diet starts tomorrow.... maybe." Siklus Gila (single pertama) Keluhan tentang budaya society kita yg nggak terbiasa ngantri & mikirin orang lain. Maunya menang sendiri. Dan ini disaksikan & diajarkan juga ke generasi bawah, jd seperti siklus yg nggak bisa kelar-kelar. Darn That Dream (by Jimmy Van Heusen) Pertama kali duet dgn Misi Lesar & aransemen bareng2 lagu ini di tahun 2014. Lagunya sendiri bercerita ttg orang yg memimpikan orang yg dicintai, tapi ternyata itu cuma mimpi. Aku pribadi suka banget karena walau komposisinya indah, sebenernya liriknya heartbreaking bgt. "Darn that dream but bless it too. Without that dream i never would have you," Kejar Waktu (single terbaru) Lagu ini mau mengajak orang2 untuk lebih menikmati proses hidupnya masing2, untuk pause sebentar & cari tahu jalan hidup yg sesuai sama jati diri, nggak perlu merasa terlambat atau dikejar-kejar waktu. Aku emang cenderung lebih seneng format kecil & intimate untuk live. Tapi format bertiga dengan klarinet ini baru pertama kali dicoba live. Ternyata jd berhasil nemuin warna baru untuk lagu-laguku. Thank you D'jazz Music School, all the people behind this production, dan tentunya Misi Lesar (gitar) & Jojo Prawira (klarinet) for lending me your wonderful talents! Hope you guys enjoy this performance."
