Sale Blanket Orders A blanket order is a price agreement to sell a certain number of quantities of products at a specific price. From a confirmed blanket order, the users can create new sale orders at agreed price, until the blanket order expires, either due to reaching the validity date or exhausting all the quantities of products. If activated, a sale order won't create delivery slip on confirmation and it won't directly impact the stock. You can control by not making a reservation on the stock. It allows the delivery and the impact on stock to be done manually when needed. The goal is to be used on long term larger sales order where not all the material is shipped at once. As you make many shipments, every time you make a new delivery, you can choose an new carrier as well as a planned date.
