10/26/2024: Indiana Rail Experience "Autumn Limited" running on Indiana Northeastern trackage between Pleasant Lake, Indiana and Reading, Michigan and return on a former New York Central branch that once went from Fort Wayne, Indiana to Jackson, Michigan. The star of the day was the beautifully restored Nickel Plate Road #358, an EMD SD9. -Locations- 0:00 - Ray on the Indiana-Michigan state line 0:50 - Along Long Lake Rd. north of Montgomery 2:47 - Ray 3:25 - Angola, Indiana 4:19 - morning trip returning to Pleasant Lake 5:47 - afternoon trip from Fox Lake Rd. overpass south of Angola 6:46 - "lava leaves" south of Fremont 7:18 - Ray 7:39 - Montgomery 9:01 - Ray 10:02 - Fremont 10:31 - Angola 10:56 - Arrival at Pleasant Lake. Once the passengers de-train and all the doors and windows are closed the train will go back to Angola to be put in a siding overnight.
