And what better way to experience this fantastic circuit than behind the wheel of one of the greatest racing machines from Japan's past? The Honda Civic Si Group A '87 is far more than just another classic Honda. Inspired by the Mugen Motul Civic that conquered its class in the 1987 All-Japan Touring Car Championship, this little touring car represents an unforgettable chapter in Japanese motorsport history. A lightweight, front-wheel-drive machine born in an era when driver skill, momentum and cornering precision could make all the difference. A true racing legend from a golden age! But history alone won't win this battle... Standing in my way is a very different kind of beast: the modern, turbocharged, four-wheel-drive Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition. What followed was absolute madness! 🤪 Five laps of relentless pressure, with the Toyota constantly biting at my tail, searching for the slightest opening and refusing to give me a single moment of peace. There was no room for mistakes. Every braking zone, every tight hairpin and every change of direction demanded absolute concentration. I had to push the Honda to its limits — and sometimes beyond — just to keep that modern 4WD monster behind me. One tiny error could be enough to lose everything.
