The Proper Siddhantha of Sikshya Gurus | HH Haladhara Swami Maharaja

HH Haladhara Swami Mahārāja, in the lecture given at ISKCON Dwaraka on the last day of the seminar titled "Teachings of Vaiṣṇava Ācāryas", explained about Śrīla Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī and Lord Nityānanda. After discussing Guru-tattva explicitly in the lecture, during the question-answer session, one Prabhuji shared a question that had arisen in his mind, and Mahārāja answered it with divine beauty and deep insights from the teachings of the Ācāryas. He explained that all counselors, śikṣā-gurus, patha-pradarśaka-gurus, or anyone’s duty is to make one the servant of his initiating spiritual master. One who says, “Don’t go to your spiritual master, but follow me; maintain niṣṭhā for me,” is simply a goru (cow) but not a guru. Mahārāja dispelled the confusion on this tattva with extreme clarity.
