Marktplatz is the town's main square. It is home to the ancient Sendig Fountain (Sendig Brunnen). The town's main cathedral, St. John's Church (St. Johanniskriche), is also located on the square. It was built in 1679. A short walk beyond St. John's Church leads to the town's main attraction: the Toscana Therme thermal baths.
