Bloodlines & Betrayal: The Rise and Fall of Pontefract Castle

Welcome everyone 🏰 Pontefract Castle is where these Shiny Boots are heading today (check out how extra shiny they are!). I walked in on a whim not knowing the backstory of this fabulous site…and, my oh my, did this castle provide the juice! I’d already started looking into William the Conqueror with regard to his infamous Domesday Book and Pontefract Castle is really at the beginning of his takeover. Let me know if you enjoyed this style of video and any of your thoughts ✨💚
