Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure - Boss 4: Neo Cortex (Turbo Run Get & 1st Ending)

There are just four bosses before the credits, so the fourth and last one here is of course against Dr. Neo Cortex. But it's probably the simplest Cortex fight in this whole series. Cortex will just be in the background shooting at Crash with his Planetary Minimizer. If it hits you, you die by seeing Crash shrink to be smaller than an atom. To "hurt" Cortex, dodge his three different shooting patterns, and then when he goes for a super charge, platforms above you will form. Stay on them until Cortex finishes his charge, and then jump out of the way at the last second so that Cortex instead shoots at the Colored Gem you were standing in front of. This will shoot the Gems, instead, causing Cortex's machine to lose power. Beating him will give you the Turbo Run power (or Speed Shoes, or Crash Dash). This will let you run faster, which is what you're gonna need for what happens next. ---------- Crash Bandicoot once again defeats Cortex and then escapes from his space station, leaving him and his henchmen to clean up the mess he caused. Meanwhile, with all 30 Crystals, Coco was able to reverse the effects of the Planetary Minimizer and restore the Earth back to its original massive size. However, Aku Aku informed Crash that his job wasn't over yet. Cortex's space station and Planetary Minimizer were both still in one piece. To summon the power needed to destroy them, Crash must now look for all of the Gems and Relics. ---------- I have been doing a good job collecting Gems, though some still had to be missed because I was missing some Colored Gems that will lead into them. As for the Relics, they are Time Trials once again. That's why the Turbo Run will help you get them more easily. So enjoy the infinitely-looping credits until you decide to cancel out of them and get to getting the rest of the treasures!
