Hanover Park community reeling from the brutal killing of four year old

The Hanover Park community is still reeling from the brutal killing of four year old Qadir Boer, who was gunned down outside his home in a suspected gang shooting on Wednesday. Two teenage suspects aged 17 and 18 have appeared in the Athlone Magistrates Court, facing charges of murder. As the community buries the little boy, there are concerns over how gangs are increasingly recruiting children, exploiting poverty, drugs and broken homes to draw them into a life of crime.
