Starting a New Season

Welcome to Our Farm, a family homesteading journey in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. We share our experiences in growing food, raising livestock, building sustainable systems, and creating a life of greater self-sufficiency. Every season has a beginning. Sometimes it starts with a dream. Sometimes it starts with a challenge. For our family, it starts right here... on Our Farm. We're not expert farmers. We're learning as we go. Some things will work, some things probably won't, but we want to share the entire journey. Our goal is to transform these 11 hectares (27 acre) into a productive family farm that can provide food, experiences, and opportunities for future generations. If you enjoy farming, self-sufficiency, country living, and watching a dream take shape, we'd love to have you along for the journey. If you're interested in homesteading, self-sufficiency, vegetable gardening, livestock farming, and building a family farm in South Africa, consider subscribing and joining us on the journey.
