Boys Brigade - Live Off-The-Floor Demo [Full Demo Album] (1982)

“Live Off-The-Floor Demo” is the cassette album demo that the band Boys Brigade recorded in 1982. This raw tape helped the Toronto-based band break out of the local club circuit. The demo reached promoter Arthur Fogel, who booked the still-unsigned group to open for The Pretenders at Toronto’s CNE in the summer of 1982. The tapes were shared with members of Rush, which led Geddy Lee to produce their self-titled debut album with Anthem Records released one year later, in 1983. All the songs were sourced from the MOCM (Museum Of Canadian Music) website; all rights are reserved, belonging to both the museum and the 1983 band itself.
