Follow me as I ride the North York Moors from Whitby to Scarborough on my Orbea Wild H20 e-bike, taking on one of the most spectacular cycling routes in North Yorkshire. This 43 km adventure combines breathtaking coastal scenery, challenging off-road trails, forest tracks and sweeping moorland views as I cycle through the heart of the North York Moors National Park.
Starting in the historic fishing town of Whitby, the route heads south through the beautiful moorland and forests around Sneaton, Stainsacre, Harwood Dale and Langdale Forest, before reaching the dramatic coastline at Scarborough with its iconic castle overlooking the North Sea. Along the way you’ll see rugged landscapes, peaceful gravel tracks, standing stones and some of the best cycling scenery England has to offer.
If you enjoy cycle touring in the North of England, e-bike adventures, gravel riding, mountain biking, or you’re looking for inspiration for your next ride in North Yorkshire, County Durham, Cumbria or anywhere in England, this ride is packed with ideas.
