A Kind Maid Pulled the Duke's Wild Horse From a Frozen Lake — Now It Will Not Leave Her Side

On a bitter winter morning in Cumberland, dairy maid Nell Tyson hears a scream across the frozen lake. The Duke of Borrowdale's wild black racehorse, Tempest, the horse no one can ride, has crashed through the ice and is sinking. Nell crawls out onto the cracking ice, covers his eyes with her shawl, and pulls him out with a rope and an old farm horse. When Eamon Strand, the cold and lonely Duke, rides up, he finds his savage horse shaking and alive with his head pressed against a maid. And Tempest will not leave her side. Moved to the stables, Nell finds whip marks on the horse and a strange green bottle hidden in his straw. Someone wants Tempest dead before the great Carlisle race, and when the plot fails, they will make sure the brave maid takes the blame. This is a full-length Regency romance narration of a cold duke, a gentle dairy maid, a horse who knows the truth and a love that runs against the odds. #DukeRomance #RegencyRomance #HistoricalRomance #PeriodDrama #CleanRomance #SlowBurnRomance #RomanceAudiobook #ColdDuke #HorseLovers #HorseRescue #RomanceNarration #VictorianRomance #LoveStory #HappilyEverAfter #TheColdDukesHeart regency romance, duke romance audiobook, cold duke romance, maid and duke romance, horse rescue story, frozen lake rescue, wild racehorse romance, Carlisle horse race, Lake District romance, Borrowdale Hall, Nell Tyson, Eamon Strand Duke of Borrowdale, Tempest the black horse, wrongly accused heroine, clean historical romance, slow burn duke romance, full length romance narration, period drama audiobook, Victorian romance story, the cold duke's heart
