5 Days in the Service Center… Just to Change a Sensor & Adjust the Head Shims — And the Stalling Issue Is Still Not Solved.
I gave my Hero Xpulse 210 to the service center on 5th September because of the recurring stalling issue. After keeping the bike for around 5 days, they called me and said it was ready.
I went to the showroom for a test ride. The bike felt mostly normal, but there was one jerk and I also noticed it pulling towards the right. After filling petrol and correcting the tyre pressure, I went on another test ride with the service manager.
During that ride, the bike stalled twice. After that, we rode around 10 km without any issue.
I then asked what exactly they had done during those 5 days. Initially, I wasn’t given a clear answer. Later, I was told they had changed a sensor and adjusted the head shims.
After leaving the showroom, the bike stalled again within around 200 metres, along with the abnormal knocking sound. I immediately returned and showed them the recorded footage.
They test rode the bike again but couldn’t reproduce the issue. I was then told to ride it until Sunday(13 Sep) and come back if the problem continued, with a coil replacement planned.
And while riding back home, the bike stalled twice again.
So today, Sunday, I took the bike back to the service center again. They asked me to leave the bike for another 2 days so they could work on it, and this time they also provided me with another bike to use temporarily.
5 days in the service center, just for a sensor replacement and shim adjustment — and the same stalling issue is still happening. Now the bike is back in the service center again.
A message to Hero MotoCorp @H@HeroMotoCorp
I am not requesting another repair or temporary fix. I have already cooperated with multiple inspections, repairs, component replacements and software updates, yet the same issue continues. At this stage, I am requesting a replacement vehicle or a full refund.
Also…
At this point, I’m planning to sell the bike. If anyone watching is genuinely interested or knows someone who might be interested, please DM me / reach out to me.
I’ll be completely transparent about the bike’s history and the issues I’ve faced. I don’t want to hide anything from a potential buyer.
