🎄 Mrs. Claus on Film: Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus | The Santa Clause 2 & 3 🎅 Ho, ho, ho! Welcome to another edition of Mrs. Claus on Film, where we celebrate the talented women who have brought Mrs. Claus to life in Christmas movies and holiday films! Today, we're heading back to the North Pole to take a look at Elizabeth Mitchell's memorable portrayal of Carol Newman—who eventually becomes Mrs. Claus—in The Santa Clause 2 and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. Elizabeth Mitchell first appears as Carol Newman, the principal at the school attended by Scott Calvin's son, Charlie. Scott Calvin, played by Tim Allen, has already taken on the role of Santa Claus, but he soon discovers that being Santa comes with another important responsibility: he needs to find a Mrs. Claus! As Scott and Carol's relationship develops, Carol discovers the truth about the North Pole and eventually becomes Mrs. Claus. In The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Elizabeth Mitchell gets the opportunity to fully embrace the role of Carol Claus. Her Mrs. Claus is intelligent, caring, independent, warm, and more than capable of helping keep the North Pole running while Santa is busy delivering presents around the world. Elizabeth Mitchell brought heart, humor, warmth, and personality to one of the most recognizable modern versions of Mrs. Claus, making Carol Claus a memorable part of The Santa Clause movie franchise. 🎬 In this episode of Mrs. Claus on Film, we look at: 🎅 Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus 🎄 Carol Newman and her transformation into Carol Claus 🎬 The Santa Clause 2 🎬 The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause ⭐ Tim Allen as Scott Calvin / Santa Claus 🎁 Mrs. Claus in modern Christmas movies ❄️ The evolution of Mrs. Claus on film What do you think?
