Hiking Old Pali Road and part of Manunawili trail (9-29-2022)

Hiking Old Pali Road and part of Manunawili trail, 9-29-2022, Out and back about 5 miles with 800 ft elev gain. This week, we hiked the Old Pali Road and part of Manunawili trail for the first time. Just below the lookout is the site of the 1795 Battle of Nuuanu that determined the unification of Hawaiian Islands by Kamehameha I. The trail starts from the Pali Lookout area by jumping over the fence on the North side. We followed along the Old Pali road for about 1.5 miles and continued about 1 miles on the Manunawili trail. We turned around and headed to “Real” Old Pail road dodging under the Pali Highway. Mahalo for Watching !
