🌹 Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Raheem 🌹 ⚠️ Every azadar knows this day. And every azadar dreads it. Not Ashura. Not the tenth. The fortieth. The day the ta'ziya-khaane fall silent. The day the last majlis ends, and nobody comes tomorrow. The day the alam is lowered, the black is folded away - and the heart, which has had somewhere to go every single evening for forty days, suddenly has nowhere. This kalaam is that exact moment, put into words: 💔 "Aaj maatam tamaam hota hai - hum se rukhsat Imaam hota hai." Today the mourning ends… today our Imam departs from us. 🖤 He lay without a shroud, unburied, until Arba'een - and when he was finally laid to rest, he was laid to rest thirsty. 🖤 "Kal na aayega koi majlis mein" - tomorrow, nobody will come. The hall that was full for forty nights will be empty. Is there a lonelier line in all of azadari? 🖤 Wherever the zikr of the Imam (a.s.) is raised, Janab-e-Sayyida Fatima (s.a.) comes down from Paradise to weep there. So when the majlis ends… who is it that we are truly sending away? 🖤 And the line that shatters everyone: Imam Sajjad (a.s.), standing over the body of his father, saying - "Aaj rukhsat ghulaam hota hai." Today your slave takes his leave. Not "your son." Your slave. The poet's own words for this feeling are the simplest in the whole kalaam: "Hota hai shaq kaleja" - the liver splits apart. Because Arba'een is now over. But here is the truth every azadar holds on to: the majlis ends.
