It is built in a birch tree at a height of about 20 meters. Based on the materials of the nest, it was at least five years old when discovered (the materials at the bottom of the nest had already partially decomposed). The online camera system was installed at this location in the spring of 2018. In 2018, nesting was not initiated, although the eagles visited the nest. In 2019, the eagles laid an egg, but it did not hatch. In 2020, nesting was not initiated, although the eagles visited the nest. In 2021, the eagles laid one egg, but it was destroyed by a greater spotted woodpecker. In 2022, successful nesting occurred, with one young bird leaving the nest. In 2023, successful nesting occurred, with one young bird. In 2024, successful nesting occurred, with one young bird.
