The Desert Winds Australian tour is underway, so I thought I would take this opportunity to share the travels and the stoke from my travels. The first week was in Perth but as I write this out I am off to the first stop of the tour, Geraldton! From there I will head east to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Hobart and then hopefully Melbourne and South Aus too. I hope to share some of the stories along the way from the local foilers! Thanks for following the journey! All information on Desert Winds Screening is at thefoilproject.com tickets and venues are below: 🚨🚨DESERT WINDS TICKETS🚨🚨 Visit thefoilproject.com for more information. 📍 GERALDTON Friday 11th of April at 30 Knots Distillery https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets... 📍 GOLD COAST Sunday 27th of April at Balter Brewing Taproom https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets... 📍 SUNSHINE COAST Sunday 4th of May at 10 Toes Brewery Buderim https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets... 📍 SYDNEY Sunday 11th of May at Collaroy Cinema https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets... 📍 HOBART Wednesday 21st of May at Manky Sally's Bar https://www.ticketleap.events/tickets... Foilers Andrew Readhead, Jon Donisi, Julian Bradley and Hugh Mitchell take on a downwind foil mission from Red Bluff to Mildura Wreck, covering over 300 km of a remote desert coastline in North Western Australia. With no access to cell reception, no boat support and carrying all their food and water on their backs, the boys find themselves as far as 12km out to sea. James Bennett and Jarvis Banfield join them for the expedition, scoring world-class waves and fishing on pristine sand beaches. This film dives into the good, the bad and the beauty of this life-changing expedition, taking you every step of the way. Are you ready for the adventure? 6 Boys, 2 tents and 1 crazy idea... what could go wrong? Thanks to our major sponsors, Code Foils and The Foil Shop, and minor sponsors, Vaikobi, LIP Sunglasses and Sunova. They have made this film possible through their amazing equipment and generous support. Thanks to The Foiling Magazine for being the official media partner.
