This was Lorie’s first time watching, and as a proud Team Edward supporter from the very beginning, she was absolutely THRILLED to finally see Bella and Edward get married. The wedding was everything she hoped for… but that joy didn’t last long. Things quickly take a dark and intense turn when Bella becomes pregnant, and watching her health rapidly deteriorate was genuinely terrifying. Lorie was deeply concerned for Bella’s life and truly thought she might die. The tension only escalates as Edward is forced to make the impossible choice — and the moment he turns Bella into a vampire left her shocked. The transformation sequence is brutal, emotional, and unforgettable. This chapter also introduces some of the saga’s most controversial moments. Jacob imprinting on Renesmee was understandably disturbing, raising a LOT of questions, and yes — that CGI baby is… not great (we all know it). Still, the emotional weight of Bella’s survival and transformation carries the story forward in a powerful way. Meanwhile, Tessa quickly realized that this was actually the last Twilight movie she ever watched, making our upcoming reaction to Breaking Dawn Part 2 a true first-time experience for both of us — and we cannot wait.
