Introduction to the Konghou harp

This video shows the Konghou harp. its history, manufacturing process and discusses playing techniques. A very beautiful, yet very rare Chinese instrument, which combines western pedal harp principles with traditional Chinese instruments like Guzheng and Pipa. Originally produced by CCTV in Chinese. I added English subtitles, so that the western world could enjoy it too.
