Guru Purnima is always a deeply special occasion, and it was an honour to be part of this baithak organised as a celebration of our Guru, Pt. Harish Tiwari Ji. I had initially planned to sing Raag Bhimpalasi, but just before the performance, Guruji asked me to sing Raag Puriya instead. To accept his guidance in the moment and sing Puriya in front of him was a truly special experience.
