Senator Kingston Speaks to Senator Coyle's Inquiry on the CYCA's Final Report

Earlier this year, Senator Mary Coyle launched an inquiry into the final report of the Canadian Youth Climate Assembly. The report includes recommendations developed by 33 young Canadians working alongside Parliamentarians. Focused on climate risks, emissions reduction, accountability, and youth engagement in Canada, the report highlights solutions grounded in evidence, lived experience, and the realities facing future generations. During the Senate sitting on Oct 27, 2026, Senator Kingston responded to the Canada Youth Climate Assembly's (CYCA) report and discussed how these youth-driven climate recommendations can help shape Canada’s climate action moving forward.
