The Stolen Peach (Chinese Folklore Story) — S1E13 | Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio

A New Year festival. A conjuring man, and an impossible order from the court. And a boy sent up a rope into the sky. Today’s story comes from Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, “The Stolen Peach.” A note before we begin: this is a street magician’s performance, a conjuring trick staged for a crowd. No one is truly harmed in this story. Let the tale begin.
